In short: our Software runs on your own computer and automates your own accounts - we don't collect what you do inside it. We do collect what's needed to sell you a license: your payment/transaction record, your license key, and, if you give it to us, your email for license notifications and your messages with support. We also use Google Analytics on our website and within the Software, and if you choose to submit a diagnostic log to us, that goes to our technical team.
Section 1: Who we are
BobDevTeam ("we", "us") operates bobdevteam.com and bobdevteam-purchase.com, and develops Bob Prime and SnapKee, Windows software licensed to users. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. Questions: contact us via our official Telegram channels on our Contact page.
Section 2: What we collect
Purchase data. When you buy a license, we (or our payment gateway) record the transaction: the payment method and network used, the transaction reference, the amount, the license key issued, and, if you provide it, an email address for license notifications (optional).
Support communications. If you contact support via Telegram or another channel, we keep the messages, and any screenshots, recordings, or files you choose to send us to help resolve your issue.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics on bobdevteam.com and within the Software itself to understand usage, such as page views and feature usage. This helps us see how our website and Software are used in aggregate.
Diagnostic logs. Some warnings inside the Software give you the option to submit a diagnostic log. This only happens if you choose to confirm and submit it yourself - we do not collect these logs automatically. Submitted logs are used by our internal development team to troubleshoot the issue you reported.
Software usage. Bob Prime and SnapKee run locally on your computer and operate on accounts and content you control. We do not collect or receive the content you post, the accounts you manage, or your activity inside the Software beyond the analytics and diagnostic logs described above. The Software contacts our servers to verify your license key is valid, and calls third-party APIs needed for certain features while it runs.
Section 3: Why we use it
We use this data to: deliver your license key and software updates; verify your license is valid when the Software runs; respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues you report (including diagnostic logs you submit); understand and improve usage of our website and Software through analytics; detect and prevent fraud, resale abuse, or misuse of license keys; and meet legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Section 4: Who we share it with
Google Analytics - for website and Software usage analytics, subject to Google's own privacy terms.
Telegram - if you contact support or join our groups/channels, your messages are handled through Telegram under Telegram's own privacy terms.
A payment gateway - we use a third-party payment gateway to process payments; they receive the transaction details needed to process your payment.
We may also disclose data where legally required to. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Section 5: How long we keep it
We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to provide support and honor license transfers, and to meet any legal or accounting obligations. Support conversations and any diagnostic logs you submit are kept for a reasonable period to maintain support and troubleshooting history.
Section 6: Your choices
You can ask us, via support, what data we hold about your purchase or license. You can ask us to delete your email address, support conversation history, or a diagnostic log you submitted; we'll retain the minimum transaction record needed for license validity and legal purposes. Since we don't collect data from within the Software itself beyond analytics and any log you choose to submit, there's nothing else to access or delete on that side.
Section 7: Security
License keys are validated over an encrypted connection. We ask that you keep your license key and any account credentials confidential - anyone with your key can attempt to activate it.
Section 8: Children
Our Software and services are business/productivity tools and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Section 9: Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and services change. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
